Collection
Bel Fibres obtains its secondary raw materials from both the professional and domestic sectors.
Sorting/Recycling
Sorting at source is important. It also leads to attractive financial conditions. Belfibres uses advanced sorting techniques to ensure that waste materials are turned into high-quality raw materials, which are then distributed to our customers worldwide.
Industrial destruction
Bel Fibres has a shredder to destroy your materials in an industrial manner.
Destroyed materials are processed into secondary raw materials.
A destruction certificate is issued for this purpose.
Recycling process
How does the recycling process work?
Collect
Collect, sort, recycle, recover: with these four steps, we help give waste a new life and thus extend the life of the materials used, in line with the principles of the circular economy.
To achieve our goals, we make commitments and deploy innovative actions. Bel Fibres obtains its secondary raw materials from both the professional and domestic sectors.
Sort
Bel Fibres recycles paper/cardboard and foil. Of this, recycled paper fiber can then be made. Our recycling know-how is essential to the smooth running of the next step in the recycling process.
Compacting
The entire roof of the Bel Fibres complex in Houthalen is equipped with solar panels. During recycling, there is a need for a lot of energy. Supporting the recycling process through self-generated solar energy reduces environmental impact.
To achieve our goals, we make commitments and deploy innovative actions. Bel Fibres obtains its waste from both the private and domestic sectors.
Recycling
Bel Fibres recycles 250.000-300.000 TONS of waste paper and cardboard annually and turns it into recycled cellulose fibers (RCF, as this new raw material is called). Our know-how in paper recycling is essential for the successful production of pulp.
Our industrial customers greatly appreciate our recycling services and the design, installation and continuous operation of collection facilities.
